Abstract

Cystic lesions of the adrenal gland are uncommon. Pancreatic pseudocysts, cystic lesions of the liver, kidney, spleen and retroperitoneum should be included in the differential diagnosis. Often the origin of the cyst cannot be precisely defined even after thorough imagenological assesment. We report a case of adrenal cystic lesion of difficult diagnosis: female, 25 years old patient, presents with abdominal pain and early satiety, on examination a palpable mass is found at the left upper abdominal quadrant. Abdominal CT and MRI conclude: pancreatic pseudocyst versus cystic lymphangioma. Intraoperative findings reveal it is dependent of the left adrenal gland evidence, tumor excision and laparoscopic adrenalectomy was performed.
