Duodenopancreatectomia de Rescate en Cáncer de Páncreas. Relato de Casos.

Abstract

Pancreatic cancer because of poor prognosis, continues to generate a series of discussions in order to improve the low survival rates. The low resectability is related to the advanced stage of disease at diagnosis. In recent years, new studies address the completion of chemotherapy and radiation therapy before surgical resection. We report two patients with locally advanced disease where multidisciplinary treatment was applied.
