Abstract

Ceco-colic volvulus is an infrequent entity, it might be associated with congenital or acquired factors. High suspicion is very important to make early diagnosis and treatment.

We present a case of cecum and ascending colon volvulus inside a giant incisional hernia, as well its physiopathology and treatment options as described in the current literature.
