Sigmoidectomía Laparoscópica con Extracción Transanal de la Pieza Quirúrgica (NOSE):

Abstract

Laparoscopic colorectal resection is a usual procedure with unquestionable clinical benefi ts. In recent years, the combination of laparoscopic surgery and extraction of the surgical specimen through natural orifi ces, has the added benefi t of eliminating the complications derived from the surgical incision with an increase in the number of hospitals that report good results with the transanal retrieval of the resected specimens. We present our experience in the laparoscopic sigmoidectomy with transanal retrieval of the specimen as a feasible and reproducible method in small tumors or benign diseases of the left colon, being applicable in hospitals with experience in laparoscopic surgery.
