Abstract

We report the case of a patient admitted as an emergency with signs and symptoms of severe hypokalemia and arterial hypertension (HTA), analytically diagnosed as primary hyperaldosteronism (PHA,) an abdominal CT scan revealed a left adrenal tumor associated with a cystic tumor of the pancreatic body and tail , both pathologies were resolved surgically; pathologic
results were Primary or Unilateral Adrenal Hyperplasia (HAU) and invasive carcinoma of intraductal papillary mucinous neoplasm of the pancreas (IPMN). The 9-month follow-up of both diseases is favorable. Two uncommon diseases presented on the same patient, one with fl orid clinical symptoms such as PHA and an asymptomatic IPMN despite the pathological result of invasive carcinoma.
