Abstract

This is the case of a young male patient with a solid pseudopapillary tumor of the pancreas or Frantz tumor, which is a low grade malignant tumor of the exocrine pancreas, usually asymptomatic, it can be detected by CT scan or MRI of the abdomen. Surgical resection is the treatment of choice. Final diagnosis is confi rmed by inmunohistochemistry and prognosis is excellent with
high survival.
